About The Friends of James Terry Court


Who are the Association of the Friends of James Terry Court?

The Association of the Friends of James Terry Court are a registered Charity No 1023718 whose aim is to raise funds and awareness of James Terry Court in order to provide extra funds raised through donations, events and a range of social, leisure and entertainment activities and extra facilities for the residents, which are outside the remit of the RMBI.

There are many ways you can help.

How does the Association of Friends raise money?

As a registered charity, the Association of the Friends of James Terry Court raise money for the home by various means. Firstly by encouraging Masonic Lodges and individuals to become “Friends” and "Patrons” of the home. Also by fund raising events such as the annual Summer Family Fun day, Hog Roast, Concerts and the annual Christmas Fayre.

There is something for everyone at James Terry Court! We welcome all the family to get involved at our annual events. We also encourage you to subscribe to the 100 Plus Club which costs only £12 per year.

How can you help?

There are lots of ways you can help. Most importantly by becoming a Friend, or Patron. Also by giving your support and giving up some free time to attend the various fund raising events organised by the Association of the Friends throughout the year.

You could also volunteer at the home, by befriending residents, helping with activities and fund raising events during the year. As a Lodge you can donate as an individual or make a contribution from Lodge charity funds.
