James Terry Court is located in South Croydon, in Surrey.
The Home, currently managed by Ms Diane Rumsby, which has been recently rebuilt, including a roof top garden for the residents use, has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at ease instantly. We provide residential care, nursing and dementia support for up to 76 residents.
We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at James Terry Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.
Our inner courtyards feature a scented garden and provide a quiet area to sit and enjoy the smell of the flowers. Residents love our roof top sensory garden, which is designed to stimulate all five senses.
Our on-site beauty salon means that you can visit the hairdressers or enjoy a beauty treatment at your leisure.
Admissions to an RMBI Care Co. Home
If you’re interested in permanent care or a short stay in an RMBI Care Co. Home, please contact your preferred care home in the first instance and speak to the Business Relationship Manager or Home Manager. You can find the contact details of each Home on the website: RMBI Homes
The local management team will be able to provide their fee rates, however, please note this is only a range. Each person’s fee is based on a full assessment of their care needs and will also help determine if the person will be self-funding, or if they quality for financial assistance from their Local Authority.
We support people with a Masonic connection. We also support some people in the wider community who do not have a connection to Freemasonry but are able to fund their placements. Where a Home has a waiting list of residents who wish to come into the Home, priority will always be given to Freemasons and their families, as long as RMBI Care Co. can support the person’s needs.

We have a fully serviced kitchen with on-site chefs and a catering team. Our varied menu changes regularly to give you a range of meal options and a balanced diet.

There’s something for everyone.We believe that keeping active both mentally and physically allows our residents to experience well being and meaningfulness. We provide regular activities at James Terry Court from gardening and painting, to day trips outside the Home and gentle keep fit classes. We can also support you to continue enjoying your own hobbies and interests, and we are confident we’ll have something that’s just right for you.
Invite family and friends.
There are a number of indoor and outdoor spaces where you can host events with your loved ones. We can help to plan private get togethers or special occasions at the Home if you wish.
